In a medieval time it was the second richest and most important city after Prague, thanks to it’s big deposits of silver. This was the place were famous Prague’s Groschen was minted – a coin used all over the Europe.
During your walk you will visit a gothic cathedral of St. Barbora, a former royal mint and the Bone church – a chapel decorated with more than 40 000 human bones including chandelier and crest of the noble family of Schwarzenbergs.
